Mazala Travel, operated by Digital Consulting Service LLC (Mongolia) and invoiced through Mazala Limited (Hong Kong), places the highest priority on the safety and well-being of our travelers.
This Health & Insurance Advisory outlines important information you must consider prior to participating in any Mazala Travel tour, package, or experience. It supplements our Travel Insurance Disclaimer and Medical & Fitness Disclaimer.
1. HEALTH & TRAVEL PREPARATION
We strongly recommend that all travelers:
- Consult their primary healthcare provider or travel clinic at least 6 weeks prior to departure
- Review destination-specific health advisories, including:
- Vaccination requirements
- Altitude-related risks
- Local disease outbreaks
- Carry sufficient personal medication and a basic travel first-aid kit
For travelers from Taiwan and other East Asian countries, please confirm any outbound travel health declarations and inbound Mongolia health requirements prior to departure.
2. RECOMMENDED VACCINATIONS
Depending on the destination (e.g., Mongolia or Central Asia), travelers are often advised to receive:
- Hepatitis A & B
- Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis
- Rabies (for rural travel or extended stays)
- Typhoid
- COVID-19 (updated dose depending on travel regulations)
Proof of vaccination may be required at border entry points.
3. ALTITUDE AND CLIMATE RISKS

You are responsible for monitoring your symptoms and notifying your guide immediately if unwell. No refunds are given for missed activities due to altitude or weather-related discomfort.

- In Ulaanbaatar and some provincial centers, private clinics and hospitals are available, though they may have limited English-speaking staff.
- In rural areas, medical care is basic or unavailable.
- Emergency evacuation or ambulance services may be delayed due to terrain or weather.
It is essential to have insurance coverage that includes medical evacuation and repatriation. See our Travel Insurance Disclaimer.
