1. TRAVEL INSURANCE IS NOT INCLUDED
Mazala Travel does not provide, offer, or sell travel insurance. All travel insurance must be independently arranged by the traveler through a licensed insurance provider.
We do not assume any responsibility for a traveler’s failure to purchase or maintain insurance coverage.
2. STRONG RECOMMENDATION TO PURCHASE COVERAGE
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance before the start of the trip. Insurance should cover, at minimum:
- Medical treatment and hospitalization abroad
- Medical evacuation and repatriation
- Trip cancellation or interruption
- Personal accident or injury
- Loss, theft, or damage of baggage and personal items
- Coverage for high-risk activities (if applicable)
- COVID-19-related medical and travel disruptions
Travelers from Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, EU countries, and the United States are especially encouraged to verify whether coverage is provided by their domestic policies or if separate international plans are needed.
3. ADVENTURE & HIGH-RISK ACTIVITY COVERAGE
Many of our tours include activities such as:
- Horseback riding
- Mountain trekking
- Desert or forest travel
- Nomadic homestays in remote areas
These activities may be considered high-risk by insurers. Ensure your insurance policy explicitly covers these types of activities. Some policies may exclude them by default.
4. MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AND EVACUATION
Emergency medical facilities may be limited or unavailable in remote regions of Mongolia or other destinations we service. In the event of:
- A serious illness or injury
- Emergency evacuation by air or land
- Repatriation to your home country
You are solely responsible for all medical, rescue, and transport costs unless covered by your insurance provider.
5. PROOF OF INSURANCE MAY BE REQUIRED
Mazala Travel reserves the right to request proof of insurance for:
- Remote or high-altitude tours
- Group travel involving minors
- Seasonal risk zones (e.g., winter treks)
Failure to provide proof may result in refusal to participate in certain activities. No refunds will be provided under such circumstances.
6. NO REIMBURSEMENT WITHOUT INSURANCE
Mazala Travel does not reimburse:
- Medical bills
- Hospital visits
- Lost baggage
- Missed flights
- Trip cancellations
These losses are only recoverable if your travel insurance provider covers them under your policy.
7. CLAIM DISPUTES AND INSURER RESPONSIBILITY
Mazala Travel:
- Is not involved in any disputes between you and your insurer
- Does not assist in claim processing or appeals
- Cannot guarantee approval or reimbursement of any claims
Please read your policy’s terms and conditions carefully before departure.
